The Power of Vision Boarding

Most of us have  ideas of what we want to be, do or have in our lives. But who has the time to intentionally get clear about what we want to create? No one. We must be deliberate and intentional on creating the time and space to focus on our personal goals.

Well, everyone from Katy Perry to Ellen Degeneres to Oprah Winfrey swears that they intentionally created outcomes by using a simple tool: Vision Boards. A Vision Board is a way to sell your own ideas to yourself, to anchor to your dreams and to allow the magic of manifestation to work in your life.

Vision boards are powerful tools, that like goal setting worksheets, help in setting personal goals and making your dreams a reality. It is a creative picture collage of what you desire. Vision boards are fun to create and very powerful to use. They effectively take what you imagine in your mind and heart, and create pictures that you can see, giving clarity and focus to your goals. They are typically made with poster board on which you paste or tape images from magazines and photos.

I made my first vision board 26 years ago. For years, I posted my vision board in a place that I would see it every day. In fact, my daughters grew up seeing my vision board. That board became an anchor of what I wished to aspire and realize. At the time, I focused on  improving my health, balancing motherhood and work, creating a home for my girls and taking time to enjoy life.  Just recently, I pulled out that vision board and realized that many of my goals came to fruition.  Creating a vision board is more than pasting pictures onto a poster board.  It’s about first getting clear on your authentic life, letting go of what’s in the way – and then clearly connecting with your dreams while designing a vision that calls to you.

There is definitely power is developing focus and clarity on your personal goals and desires. What are your waiting for? Get ready to realize your dreams!

Practice Makes Purpose!

Love,

Stella
